URSI/WDC-STP Station Code Convention
URSI Station code is 5 character ID assigned by URSI to each ionosonde
location.
First two letters are abbreviated location name.
Last three characters encode the location coordinates.
- First character of the three encodes the station East Longitude band:

The third character can be modified arbitrarily to avoid conflict with existing
codes.
