A study of the Velocity variations observed when a patch moves over Qaanaaq was conducted. The results show
- Importance of taking into account uncertainties produced by assuming spacial uniformity.
- For day 89 1992 DDA and GDDA were in good agreement, assumption of uniform motion valid at this time.
- Variations in Vns correlated well with patch movement.
- Not all patches observed caused a deviation in velocity.
- DDA and GDDA were not in agreement on day 88 1992 when a single patch event was observed.
- Using this technique a statistical study is being carried out.
