Using DDAV.EXE to calculate 3-D velocities

Use the DDAV.EXE program to calculate the 3d vector velocity components from the skymap data file DRIFT0.SKY

If not already there copy this file into the C:\DDA> directory. At command line type:

C:\DDA>DDAV <Enter>

The program will display the DDAV graphics screen showing the velocity components and there associated confidence values. When completed the velocity data will be housed in a file with the Digisonde labeling convection,

i.e. YDDDHMMS.VEL
