Digisonde Drift Analysis Homepage

This homepage introduces the Digisonde Drift Analysis developed at the University of Massachusetts Lowell Center for Atmospheric Research. The UMLCAR Digisonde Drift Analysis set of programs are designed to deal with the online and post processing of drift data. Since these programs are under constant revision and development this site has been established to document many of the features of the DDA software. The program descriptions, exercises and usage are implemented as required by requests from external experimenters. Hence it is recommended that researchers interested in processing Digisonde Drift data sets with these packages, review this site, and if needed, make requests via email to Vadym_Paznukhov@student.uml.edu for further inputs and/or exercises to describe more features.

During the development of these programs, modules have been written for the FORTRAN and Java platforms. The DDA architecture supports Graphical displays for fast viewing of data sets, and data reading, extracting and manipulation methods for use of the data sets in external programs. The packages are housed in their appropriate Complied language section
